Testing Procedure

The Robotoparto Testing Procedure

Obviously here at Robotoparto we test our robot kits fully before they are sent out to the A.I. firms. We put all of the parts together and load our own test programme A.I. onto the robot to really work the limits of each of the parts.

After that testing process we then dismantle the robot, mass produce the parts and package them into kits to be sent off to the A.I. firms.

The A.I. firms then program the reactor and the brain to bring the robot to life.

At Robotoparto we are adamant that our parts are catalogued correctly, so when each robot kit is manufactured, it is given a tag which dates the robot to a specific year and month. This way if there are any horrible accidents with the robot kits we have provided, we can identify the parts and the people that were at fault for the incident.

These tags contain two pieces of information:

– The initials of the testing officer who signed off on the parts
– The model of robot it was tested in

Each robot model is manufactured for three years – here is a sample 7 years to demonstrate how this works:

2012 – FD005

2013 – FD006

2014 – FD006

2015 – FD006

2016 – FD007

2017 – FD007

2018 – FD007

The Robotoparto Testing Officers

To carry out the rigorous testing of our robotic parts,  we have developed and refined a complex system. Each batch of parts has to be signed off by our testing officer – the most important person in the business (they would say).

Here is our team of Robotoparto testing officers. We’re proud to say they’ve all been with us since day one. We like to believe that’s because of the rotation protocols we put into practice very early on. Each month a different testing officer is in charge, meaning that the stress never becomes too much to bear.

Get to know the team

Ziska Portelli

One of the best in the business, Ziska pioneered our testing programme when she first joined the company. Cool and calm under pressure, Ziska was the first to put her initials to a Robotoparto robot kit.

Sachie Nakajima

Sachie came into the company shortly after Ziska and was obsessed with pushing the testing procedure to its limits, building more and more complex robots from the parts that were being tested.

Huan Zhu

Huan is an excellent tester. Head-hunted from a rival Chinese company, Huan is hard-working and dedicated. He has pushed the company to new limits with the parts he has helped to test.

Jaxton Van Der Beek

Jaxton took to Robotoparto like a duck to water, he came onto the team slightly later than everybody else but has proven himself to be a worthy testing officer.

Obviously signing off potentially lethal robot parts is a very stressful job. To help our officers to stay calm and stress free we rotate the lead testing officer every month – obviously taking holiday and other forms of leave into account.

Here is the schedule of testing officers from 2012 – 2018, to give you an example of how the system works:
